An extraordinary journey through Morocco's High Atlas Mountains with our captivating two-day Marrakech Atlas trekking experience. Departing from Marrakech, we traverse picturesque villages, offering glimpses into the timeless traditions of the Berber people. Guided by expert hands, we ascend the challenging Tizi Mzik pass, greeted by panoramic vistas of the Imlil Valley and the majestic Toubkal Summit. Continuing, we marvel at the Tamsoult Waterfalls before descending into Tizi Oussem, where Berber hospitality awaits in traditional dwellings. Day two sees us exploring Id Issa village before ascending Tizi Oudid, our final challenge. With each step, we immerse ourselves in the beauty of the Atlas Mountains, forging memories to last a lifetime.


Itinirary (2 Days)


We organize Marrakech Atlas trekking for two days to explore Berber villages, depart from your hotel towards the High Atlas Mountains via Tahnnaout, Oued Ghighaya, and Asni, and enjoy the stunning view of the villages along the way. Arrival at Imlil (65km from Marrakech), meet the guide and muleteer, and then start the trek and climb Tizi Mzik pass (2500m), a spectacular view over Imlil Valley and Toubkal Summit. Continue to Tamsoulte to visit the highest waterfalls in the Atlas Mountains (100m of height), down the Azzaden Valley through juniper forest to get to Tizi Tizi Oussem village. Overnight at the Berber house in the village. 6hrs walking.

After breakfast, enjoy the sunshine in this colorful valley and its marvelous typical Berber villages; leave Tizi Oussem and continue down to Id Issa village before heading up to Tizi Oudid mountain pass (2000m); cross Matat village after a wild thurifer juniper forest; get lunch under walnut groves; and relax near the river. In the afternoon, transfer back to Marrakech. Thank you for taking a guided Marrakech to Berber villages trek with an experienced travel company. At the end of the trek, we transfer you to your hotel in Imlil, Marrakech, or to the airport, and our 2-day Berber villages trek finishes.
